Is Apple Pay secure?

Apple Pay is one of the most secure ways to handle transactions. Apple does not store credit card information on your device and neither Apple nor the merchant can access your information. Apple Pay also uses device-specific numbers and transaction-specific codes to make payments.

Contactless payments allow you to make payments without manually entering your PIN, so you don't have to worry about someone watching and memorizing it. 

Each purchase also needs to be verified with your fingerprint via Touch ID, your face via Face ID or code. This means that only you as the owner of the device can pay with it.
